There are several downloadable programs that do concept mapping - programs like Inspiration, CMaps, Freemind, and others. Some cost a pretty penny to let you organize your thoughts and brainstorm.
Now, Inspiration has released Webspiration, a web-based beta software that requires only a quick registration. It does almost everything you'd want a concept-mapper to do, to be expected from the maker of Inspiration, which can be purchased for $69.
Webspiration is in beta, so it might not be free forever, but it was only a matter of time before concept mapping hit the web. Now it has.
