More Graphic Manipulation Web-Tools

PixLr and Sumo Paint
I recently wrote a piece about Aviary Phoenix. Now, I've found a few other graphic manipulation programs that work equally as well, if not even better. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big Phoenix-fan, but there are a few things it doesn't do very well. Adding drop shadow, for instance, seems non-existent in Phoenix. It's simple in Sumo Paint and Pixlr.
The other day I had to design a brochure on a computer without access to Photoshop or Gimp. Just Publisher. <scream> I was able to do some quick work online using these three tools, and the finished product turned out great. It would have been faster with Photoshop, but I was able to get it done.
Pixlr is a lot of fun to use. Like Aviary's Phoenix, it deals with layers and several filetypes equally well. It's a little harder to create transparent PNG's with Pixlr, but it does layer effects extremely well.
Sumo Paint does the PNG's and the effects incredibly well.
The best part is that no fee is required for use. You can play for free, and save your work to your own PC.
