It's fantastic if you like the books. You can create a catalog of your books. There are over 125,000 users and nine million books on members' bookshelves. The catalogs are online, so the people can make catalogs together. LibraryThing: connects people based on the books they share.
You can search your books, sort your books, edit book information, apply "tags", rate your books and write reviews. (It cares about books, not about SELLING books.) You can tell people all about yourself and your library. There are lots of groups to join and talk.
